* The MiniAlarm Plus is designed to operate on a standard phone line like those found in most homes. The power for a standard telephone line is supplied by the phone company, so our units will still dial even if the power to the property is out. They cannot dial out if the telephone lines are down. The MiniAlarm Plus should also work on most single DSL and Digital and/or cable telephone services. Please note that these types of phone services require the power to be on in the building. This means that if the power is off, you will not receive a phone call from the MiniAlarm Plus.
